Introducing Men's Classic and Tri-blend T-shirts

Tri-blend tee - I AM a morning person

I'm very excited to announce the addition of two new tees to my line of men’s products — the Classic and the Tri-blend tees. Depending on which kind of fit you like best, each tee fulfills a different need. The Classic is heavier and more durable while the Tri-blend gives you that light, soft, vintage feel. Both are great in their own ways.

TRI-BLEND TEE
Get that vintage look without the mothball smell. The Tri-blend Tee is super soft, lightweight, slim-fit and very cozy. It’s 50% polyester, 25% combed and ring-spun cotton, and 25% rayon which all adds up to a killer looking, stylish shirt.

Plus. how can more shirt options be a bad thing, right?

 Detail of Tri-blend T-shirt
  • Preshrunk, moisture wicking tri-blend fabric (50% polyester, 25% cotton, 25% rayon jersey)
  • 4.3oz/145gsm (mid-weight) soft fabric with vintage look
  • Slim fit, but if that's not your thing, order a size up
The Tri-blend tee is pretty cool for ladies too!

The fabric for tri-blend t-shirts is composed of three materials, typically a blend of polyester, cotton, and rayon. This tri-blend fabric is super-soft and doesn't keep heat trapped between the fabric and your skin, making tri-blend t-shirts ideal for an active day at the gym or an inactive day lounging around the house.

CLASSIC TEE
This thing is already a classic, even though it’s brand new. The Classic Tee is a boxier cut than the regular unisex tee (which is kind of a classic in its own right). These guys are perfect for dudes who desire a more durable shirt. They’re made from a heavier fabric so they’re comfy as heck and exceptionally well-equipped for any and all adventures. Or no adventures. Or anything really. They’re just cool shirts and you’ll like them.

Classic tee - Always a favourite!
  • Plain colors are 100% preshrunk cotton, Heather Grey is 90% Cotton/10% Polyester, Charcoal Heather is 50% Cotton/50% Polyester
  • Fabric Weight: 5.3oz /180gsm (heavyweight)
  • Classic, generous, boxy fit
  • Double-needle hems and neck band for durability

As always, the tees on RedBubble are ethically sourced, sweatshop free, and feature amazing unique, one-of-a-kind artworks. So, if you're looking for a totally unique T-shirt, why not visit my shop? Devote 15 minutes a day...

Even a quick, small sketch 4.5" x 6" on some note paper can get the creative juices flowing

How am I supposed to make art, promote it, take care of my family, exercise, and stay sane?!

How often have you hard this complaintand it is a complaintor said it yourself? In other words, people want to know how to juggle all of the tasks in one’s lifeor at least all of the tasks that someone WISHES they could fit in.

Heres the fact: You cant do it all. You will never be able to get everything done that you want to do. Get that straight and get on with things. Give up whining about not having enough time and, instead, spend your time getting stuff done.

What is most alarming to me are the artists who want to build careers but are struggling to find time to work in their studios. Heres another fact: You cannot be a serious artist without regular studio time! You must find a way to make art on a consistent basis.
If you are one of the artists wrestling with a commitment to your studio, I have a solution:

(Read the rest of the article by Alyson Stanfield here.)

Spend just 15 minutes a day checking in with your art. This is all you need to promise yourself at this point. If you go longer, great! If it’s just 15 minutes, well, that’s okay, too.
You could spend your 15 minutes making art. This is fine if you work quickly or on a small scale, but what if you have to haul out oil paints, lots of tools, or heavy machinery? In these cases, consider spending your 15 minutes doing any of the following :

·       Sketching or going through previous sketches
·       Taking photographs for inspiration
·       Preparing to make art (sharpening tools, priming canvases, cutting paper)
·       Reading about art
·       Writing about your art
·       Studying and analysing a piece of your art
·       Studying someone elses art in relation to your own

However you decide to spend your 15 minutes, I suggest that it be done IN your studio or, if that’s not possible, at least surrounded by lots of your art...

Of course you cannot build a career as a professional artist by spending only 15 minutes a day in the studio, but you can use your 15 minutes to work toward a larger goal. Or, the 15 minutes can help you move past a creative block.

The point of the 15 minutes is not to try to create a masterpiece within that short time frame. The point is to stay connected with your art every day. This connection will feed you. It will make you a happier person and a less frustrated artist.

FINAL WORD: If youre in a slump or need to reconnect with your art, devote 15 minutes a day to the studio. It shouldn’t be the last thing you do! Studio hours should be scheduled for your peak creativity time. When you procrastinate studio time, you procrastinate your career. You’re telling yourself and everyone in your life that making art is your lowest priority.
